I was watching One Man and His Campervan the other day and he made damper bread. In my quest to make almost everything in Jane Brocket’s Cherry Cake and Ginger Beer, I decided that since I was now already in the notion for damper bread that I would bake the recipe from her book. It’s in the oven now. A lovely smell pervades the house.
