I was perusing my fave blogs and, as usual, had a wee look at Jane Brocket’s blog. She always has lovely photos of flowers and at this time of year, she always has tulips which are my favourite flowers. Seeing her latest blog, looking at her lovely pictures and sighing over their colours reminded me to have a quick rant about what’s happening to my lovely tulip bulbs. In a word…

SQUIRRELS

Yes, they are fluffy and cute, but they are also destructive wee besoms as well and they have dug up all my bulbs and eaten them. Sigh.

No tulips for me this year then!
