I love Jane Duncan’s books. On this day in 1910, Jane was born in Renton (a stone’s throw away from where I live). Her real name was Elizabeth Jane Cameron and she wrote some of the best novels I have ever read.  I look out for copies of her books whenever I’m in a secondhand book shop.
