Hiya. I am still here, but unfortunately my laptop is not. My friend James – who fixes computers – valiantly tried to resurrect it, but couldn’t save it. Sigh.

Aw well, still got hubby’s laptop that I can borrow. It’s not the same though.

Anyway, am still here and still writing. Am currently on annual leave just now, looking after the offspring for the first two weeks of the school holidays. Yesterday, we went and collected my deceased laptop and then went to the Riverside Museum for a run around. I say ‘run around’ because my children don’t walk anywhere…they run. I reckon we got round the whole museum in about 40 minutes, which is a shame because I really like the exhibits because I am a bit of a secret petrol head. The Riverside Museum, for those who don’t know it, replaced our beloved Transport Museum in Glasgow. It’s a really modern building on the banks of the River Clyde and I really like it. I wasn’t sure at first when I visited it when it opened, but on a second visit I decided that I do like it. It’s packed full of lovely old vehicles and model ships and there’s an exhibition of old dresses (right up my street!). Talking of streets it also has a fake street where you can go into an old bar, shop and lots more. The kids liked tapping on the interactive screens and peering into the tram cars. It’s worth going to see.

I need to go, I hear fake crying and fighting going on upstairs!
