Morse Code is something I’ve always wanted to learn – you know, for in case of emergency or something!  But I never have.

Today Learn Your Name in Morse Code Day. It might seem like a daft thing to do, but it’ll be fun and is a great introduction to Morse Code.

Morse Code was invented by three different inventors: Samuel F B Morse, Josephy Henry and Alfred Vail who worked together to produce a way of sharing information via electric telegraph. Morse Code was created and it became one of the most important forms of communication the world has ever seen. It’s been used for everything from telegraphs and semaphore to flashing lights.
