Not as cute as yesterday`s pic, but never mind. Today is World Octopus Day and here are some fun facts about these…erm…lovely creatures:

• octopuses have been around for 300 million years and pre-date the dinosaurs
• they are highly intelligent and can learn lessons and solve problems
• they come in loads of different shapes and sizes
• the biggest type is the Giant Pacific Octopus that can weigh up to 600lbs
